Place-Based Exploration
Children in Summer Explorers engage in hands-on, experiential learning rooted in the natural environment and community of the Bitterroot Valley. Outdoor exploration is central: children hike trails, observe wildlife, create with natural materials, and play outdoors, while exploring science, math, literacy, and social-emotional skills. Educators guide these experiences with a balance of structure and flexibility, letting children’s interests lead the way.
Summer Explorers at EKC
Summer Session: June 8 – August 14, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Ages: 3-5
Children will be dropped off and picked up at Evergreen Kids Corner. They will explore the beautiful outdoors and our local community!
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided, featuring locally sourced ingredients and scratch-made meals.
Enrollment: Maximum of 15 children with a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

Summer Explorers For BIGS
Summer Session: June 8 – August 14, 2026

Ages: 6-8
Children will be dropped off and picked up at Kiwanis River Park. They will explore the beautiful outdoors and our local community!
Meals: Morning snack and lunch are to be provided by families. BELN provides afternoon snack, featuring locally sourced ingredients and scratch-made meals.
Enrollment: Maximum of 16 children with a 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
