The Evergreen Experience
At Evergreen Kids Corner, we care for the whole child socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.
Children are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, build relationships, express themselves, and explore their interests through play and hands-on experiences. Our educators thoughtfully support each child’s development while creating a warm, responsive environment where children feel secure, capable, and connected.
We balance intentional learning with plenty of time for uninterrupted play, movement, creativity, and exploration. Children are given opportunities to practice independence, develop executive functioning skills, and build the confidence they need for their next steps in learning.

Our Place-Based Approach
The Bitterroot Valley is an important part of our classroom.
Place-based education gives children opportunities to learn through direct experiences with their local environment and community. Children explore seasonal changes, observe nature, visit community spaces, and connect what they are learning to the world around them.
Outdoor learning is woven into our daily routine, giving children opportunities to move, investigate, take healthy risks, solve problems, and develop a meaningful connection to the place they call home.
At Evergreen Kids Corner, nature isn’t just something we visit it’s part of how we learn.
Meals & Snacks
Children enjoy nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, prepared under the guidance of our on-site Health & Nutrition Coordinator. BELN participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to help ensure children receive healthy, balanced meals while in care.
Hands-on cooking experiences and mealtimes give children opportunities to explore new foods, build independence, and connect with others. We thoughtfully accommodate allergies and dietary needs whenever possible.
Family Support
As part of BELN’s broader family support network, Evergreen Kids Corner can help connect families with parenting resources, developmental support, community programs, referrals, workshops, and additional services when needed.
We believe caring for children also means supporting the well-being of families.
Tuition includes more than preschool programming — families can also access family support, workshops, individualized learning experiences, and additional resources through BELN.
Evergreen Kids Corner Preschool Tuition
We want preschool to be an option for families across our community. Evergreen Kids Corner accepts the Montana Best Beginnings Scholarship, a state child care assistance program that helps eligible working families cover the cost of care. Our team is happy to help families understand their options and navigate available support.
Our tuition is structured for transparency and consistency. Annual tuition is divided into equal monthly payments, so tuition remains the same each month regardless of attendance or scheduled closures, including holidays, professional development days, and other planned days off.
Your tuition supports more than a place to learn. It provides children with a caring, engaging environment where they can build relationships, explore their interests, develop new skills, and grow in confidence.

- 2 days: $360 per month
- 4 days: $990 per month

We welcome children ages 3 to 6 years old.
Families interested in Evergreen Kids Corner can fill out an application through the Ravalli County Child Care Portal. From there, our team can help guide you through the enrollment process, answer questions, and schedule a time for a tour of the school.
Our educators meet state licensing requirements, including CPR and First Aid certification and background checks. BELN also prioritizes ongoing professional development and best-practice guidance because we believe supported educators create stronger learning environments for children. Our teaching team brings extensive training in early childhood development, along with a BA in Education, to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
Our program uses developmentally appropriate, relationship-based, and trauma-informed practices. We use developmental assessments, including the ASQ and HELP assessments, to understand each child’s strengths and areas of growth.
Assessments are completed in partnership with families so educators and parents can work together to support each child’s development.
Children’s safety and well-being are our top priorities! We follow strict health protocols and maintain secure facility access at all times. Our trained staff, certified in first aid and emergency response, closely supervise children at all times. We also conduct monthly emergency drills, follow detailed field trip guidelines, and perform comprehensive background checks on all staff.
Yes! Parents and caregivers are always welcome. We encourage family involvement and maintain an open-door approach while asking families to communicate with us in advance so children aren’t surprised by schedule changes.
We provide nutritious, age-appropriate breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack each day, all included in tuition. Every meal is prepared with careful attention to dietary restrictions and allergies to ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
We’ve got you covered! We recently received a grant from the Rapp Family Foundation to provide us with heavy duty snow gear, new boots, alpaca wool socks, and a glove and boot warmer that allows us to go out multiple times a day with warm fingers and toes!
